Two of our Year 6 children have just returned from a two-day visit to Stratford. They had the opportunity to perform alongside other children from all over England in the Shakespeare play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. The boys played the parts of Puck and Lysander. Both children were amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They were a real credit to our Academy. Well done boys!

Last night saw the culmination of hours of hard preparation for an amazing performance of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream“. Taking place at The Grand Theatre, Blackpool Mr. Blood’s Shakespeare performers were one of nine schools taking part from the local area.

Simply entitled, “The Dream“, the performance – a resounding success –  was an amazing celebration of Shakespeare’s work encompassing a host of young people from Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC) Learning and Performance Network. Below are some photos of the children from our school involved at the evening’s performance.
